Red Bullet Mission

Wheelock Associates Architects' working environment is a balance of critical thinking, dynamic visual skills, rigorous programming and technical precision; we believe that no less is required to create truly inspired architecture. The company culture prioritizes and encourages communication skills in order to bring our clients into the heart of the design process and to foster an intensity of creative energy that typifies architecture of the highest order. We continually test and prove our ideas by making them visible through a combination of hand sketches, physical and computer-generated 3-D models, and watercolor renderings. Comprehensive, detail-intensive CAD drawings and specifications provide a vehicle for close quality control during the review process, accurate pre-bid estimates, and clear instructions to the contractor for even the most exacting projects.

We understand construction, and know how to work with contractors to get things built on time, on budget, and with a high standard of quality. In our experience, a good project requires a good owner, a good architect, and a good contractor, working in collaboration. Accordingly, we are relentlessly team-oriented and prefer to work with contractors early in our projects in order to establish and stay within the budget and schedule, and streamline the construction process.
